EIN Presswire has launched its first video podcast to assist brands in adapting to AI-driven search visibility, as outlined in its July newsletter.
The debut episode of Heard on the Streets features PR strategist Pam Perry, who stated that traditional SEO is insufficient. Brands must now prioritize Generative Engine Optimization, or GEO, to appear in AI-generated responses from tools like ChatGPT.
“SEO gets you on page one of Google,” Perry said. “GEO can help your brand show up in ChatGPT search results.” She also emphasized the importance of press releases, calling them essential for improving AI visibility while securing broader media coverage.
Wikipedia’s growing role in AI search
The newsletter included insights from digital marketing expert Josh Greene, who explained why Wikipedia has become a key source for AI training data. Greene, founder of The Mather Group, noted that brands seeking a Wikipedia page require third-party coverage from credible sources to meet the platform’s notability standards.

“Media coverage from reputable news outlets, industry publications, books, and other independent sources is the foundation of a strong Wikipedia presence,” he said. AI tools increasingly depend on Wikipedia as a trusted reference, making it valuable for brand credibility.
EIN Presswire’s staff met in Prague last month to develop new tools for journalists and communicators. The company is introducing expanded distribution options and resources to help clients handle AI-driven communications.
Answer Engine Optimization gains traction
Marketing strategist Cassie Wilson wrote a two-part series on Answer Engine Optimization, or AEO, which helps position brand content in AI-generated responses. In the second part, Wilson cautioned that brands may lose control of their narrative if they overlook AEO.
“Appearing in AI-generated answers is becoming essential for shaping and protecting your brand,” she wrote. Wilson advised communicators to start adapting now to stay ahead.

The newsletter also spotlighted a Washington D.C. political reporter, one of EIN Presswire’s 3,900 affiliated news sites. The publication covers Capitol Hill and underreported political stories, including recent articles on food insecurity advocacy and the National Black Church Initiative’s endorsement of a D.C. mayoral candidate.
The outlet said its press releases can be distributed to relevant affiliated sites but did not explain how targeting works or what share of releases are placed. Subscribers can receive daily briefings from the network’s publications via email.
The company’s Prague gathering also produced lighter observations. Employees described the city’s castles as stunning and praised Czechia’s fried cheese as a standout dish.
