Apollo Micro Systems Shares Surge on SALHS Tech Win - defense innovation
Apollo Micro Systems Ltd is headquartered in Hyderabad, India, and specializes in defense and aerospace technology.

Apollo Micro Systems Ltd shares rose on Thursday after the Hyderabad-based defense and aerospace firm announced it had received the Transfer of Technology (ToT) for the Semi-Active Laser Homing System (SALHS). The company’s stock climbed 2.07% to Rs 378 as of 2:37 pm, with an intraday high of Rs 383.

The SALHS technology is a precision-guidance system that uses laser-based target detection to improve the accuracy of munitions during flight. This transfer allows Apollo Micro Systems to integrate and manufacture the technology for eligible platforms, pending necessary qualifications.

Financial Performance and Stock Trends

Apollo Micro Systems reported strong growth in its FY2026 financial results. Consolidated revenue rose to Rs 904.32 crore from Rs 562.07 crore in FY2025, while consolidated profit after tax increased to Rs 107.38 crore from Rs 56.36 crore.

Despite this growth, the company’s total borrowings increased to Rs 485 crore as of March 31, 2026, up from Rs 291 crore a year earlier. The stock has been consolidating in the Rs 361-Rs 467 range since late May, according to Sudeep Shah of SBI Securities.

The Rs 365-Rs 370 zone is a critical support area. A break below this range could trigger further selling pressure. The stock’s weekly RSI remains flat, indicating a sideways bias.

Defense Projects and Future Prospects

Apollo Micro Systems is also involved in the Multi-Influence Ground Mine (MIGM) program, known as Vighana. The program received approval from the Defence Acquisition Council and has moved towards production.

The company’s ability to convert defense technologies into production orders is key for future revenue visibility. The SALHS technology transfer adds another specialized capability to its portfolio, potentially enhancing its position in the defense sector.

Should You Invest?

From a technical perspective, the Rs 365-Rs 370 region is a critical support level, according to Sudeep Shah. Investors tracking the stock may also watch whether it can sustain its broader trend and move beyond its recent consolidation range.
